He is a member of the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. Dan Galusha of Milan received the prestigious award for being a Legendary Communicator.
Over the years, Dan has written numerous magazine articles about fishing. He still writes for seven different publications. He also has appeared on a number of tv shows, and hosted a radio program about fishing. He has won several awards from the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers.
Galusha is a catch and release fisherman. Years ago, he caught a remarkable 15 hundred bass in one year. Several while he was ice fishing.
Galusha was only three years old when he caught his first solo fish. He fished as a youngster with his parents and Grandpa Harry.
He is the first person from the Quad Cities to be inducted into the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. Galusha reminds his readers, listeners, and viewers to get out and enjoy a great day of fishing! Hook, line, and sinker!
