LeClaire, Iowa's police chief is out after just four months on the job. Mayor Bob Scannell says Brian Carsten has been relieved of his duties. He went on the say that since it is a personnel matter, he will only say that it "didn't work out."
The mayor says there's no investigation and there will be no council discussion.
Sergeant Shane Themas is now the acting chief in LeClaire.
