A Silvis, Ill., man has been charged with production of child pornography. 31-year-old John Frazer was arrested Monday.

The arrest came after Danish National Police notified United States Homeland Security of an account posting illicit images on a Russian website. Police traced the computer IP address to Frazer's Silvis apartment, where federal authorities issued a search warrant and arrested him.

He was ordered to remain in the custody of United States Marshals until a hearing Thursday morning. If convicted, Frazer faces 15 to 30 years in prison.

KWQC's Lynnanne Nguyen talked to the Silvis Police Department on how they traced the illicit material to Frazer and what it took to make the arrest. She'll share what she learned tonight on KWQC-TV6 news.
