EAST MOLINE, Illinois – The East Moline campaign office of 17th Congressional District candidate Cheri Bustos (D) was vandalized early Friday morning.

Campaign manager Allison Jaslow says someone threw around 18 eggs at the front of the office and on the car of a campaign staff member.  Jaslow says it happened sometime after midnight Thursday and around 7 a.m. Friday.

Jaslow says a police report was filed, and it is not known who is responsible.

Bustos' opponent, Republican Congressman Bobby Schilling, released a statement condemning the incident.
