Trinity Medical Center is being sued by the government over allegations of sexual harassment and the termination of an employee.

According to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission website, Trinity Rock Island violated federal law by firing an employee who complained about being sexually harassed. The government claims Deborah Chisholm was subjected to hostile and lewd comments and complained repeatedly to management. Instead of addressing the problem, the E.E.O.C. says the hospital terminated Chisholm in retaliation.

We contacted Trinity, which says it has not received the lawsuit yet. Trinity added that it does not condone harassment and intends to defend itself against the charges.
