The Salvation Army's homeless shelter for families in the Quad Cities is putting out a public plea for paper products. Officials are calling it, Operation TP.

According to a news release, the Family Service Center is in critical need of donations of paper products. Money is tight right now and with 104 people in the shelter, including 65 children, cutting back on toilet paper is extremely hard to do.

The Salvation Army is asking for any and all paper products, including toilet paper, paper towels, napkins or baby wipes.

Donations are being accepted at The Salvation Army, 301 W. 6th Street, Davenport, IA 52803.
