There's good news this week for the Davenport, Iowa unemployment scene. APAC announced they are building a 6,000 square foot addition to its existing call center in Davenport.

Officials at APAC say they will be looking to fill over 500 positions by the end of the year. Most of the jobs are new hires, with some being through attrition.

APAC currently employees around 1,000 people.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new addition on September 24th.
