Bettendorf Police responded Friday afternoon, September 14, 2012, to a bank robbery at the Valley Bank inside the HyVee at 2900 Devils Glen Road. The incident happened at approximately 12:34 p.m.

Police say a white male gave the teller a note. No weapon was displayed but was inferred in the note. The suspect left on foot into the parking lot, unknown direction. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray shirt over long sleeved black shirt with collar, maroon cap, and sunglasses.

According to the police report, the suspect is described as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, in his 20's to early 30's. He was also described as having strawberry blond facial hair stubble with a gap in his front teeth.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken. Anyone with information is being asked to call 911.
