    Iowa authorities are searching for a missing teenage girl they believe was kidnapped. Her family released a statement to the public.

The Rock Island County Sheriff's Department is looking for help to solve an armed robbery. The incident took place Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the QC Mart located at 101 Woodland Road, in Milan, Illinois.

The suspect is being described as a black/male approximately 5'10" tall. Authorities say around 10:05 p.m., the suspect entered the business, presented a knife and directed the clerk to the cash register and safe. According to the report, an unspecified amount of money was taken.

The suspect was seen getting into a mid-90's dark-colored vehicle, "possibly a Grand Am or a similar make."

The case is under investigation. Anyone having information is asked to contact the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department.
