Some commuters in Davenport were delayed Wednesday morning after a cement truck tipped over in a busy intersection. The call came in to the Davenport Police at 8:24 a.m.

Police say the truck was heading south on Division Street, turned right onto Kimberly Road and according to Sergeant Ron Waline, "a combination of things caught up with him."

The truck rolled over onto its side and impacted another concrete truck sitting in the turn lane on east bound Kimberly Road. Officials report only minor injuries.

A large tow truck in combination with a crane was used to roll the overturned truck upright. Street sweepers were brought in to clean up any extra debris and oil that had spilled.

According to authorities, traffic was back to normal a little after 10:00 a.m.
