    Iowa authorities are searching for a missing teenage girl they believe was kidnapped. Her family released a statement to the public.

Officials say a meth lab was shut down in Silvis, Ill., Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 2:00 p.m., Silvis Police and members of the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group served a warrant at 514 1st Ave. in Silvis.

According to police, an active meth lab was discovered and safely dismantled. Silvis Police were assisted by Silvis Fire, Genesis Ambulance and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team.

Christina Pearl Schumacher, 33, of Silvis was arrested for Manufacture of Methamphetamine and taken to the Rock Island County Jail. Formal charges are expected to be filed Wednesday.
