It doesn't seem to matter if you ask a man or a woman.  Someone young or old. The issue of legalizing medical marijuana for any purpose seems to push a lot of buttons. The only thing that stands in

They own and operate a railroad and a village. It's a sense of pride for several residents at The Fountains Senior Living Community in Bettendorf.

Those residents pooled their money, and received donations to create the Fountainville Express. It is an H-O scale model railroad, complete with both passenger and freight trains which zip through town.

They've also assembled the Village of Fountainville. A quaint community, complete with several businesses, a farm, gazebo, football stadium and other buildings which residents have helped to paint and assemble.

These model train enthusiasts began the project a couple of years ago. It is a work in progress.

Pat Clapp is one of the engineers. She's always been fascinated by the sound of the train whistle. Bob Ritter handles the controls, and Ted Pfeiff keeps track of train inventory.

The layout is worth about seven thousand dollars.  It is a model railroader's delight.
