    Iowa authorities are searching for a missing teenage girl they believe was kidnapped. Her family released a statement to the public.

An accident on Archer Drive and Avenue of the Cities has sent one person to the hospital. The incident occurred just after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses say a car with two teens collided with a minivan occupied by a mother and teen, causing the minivan to flip.

Emergency crews needed to extricate the mother from the vehicle. She was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. One of teens is also reported to have sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating. There is no information on citations at this point.
