The night started as an "end of the school year party", the night before Mother's Day, May 12th 2012. The home was in a quiet neighborhood in the 1200 block of 13th Avenue in Moline, Ill. But things quickly got out of control.

The mother of the party's host, who didn't want to be identified, told KWQC that the party was supposed to be "by invitation only, no more than 40 to 50 people."

She says her 19 year old son had just finished his first year at college and had planned to celebrate. But that changed quickly when more and more people showed up.

"80 to 90, going on to 100 people were still coming, and then he tried to make it stop. He didn't know how to de-escalate the situation, once it got that far out of control, when there is so many people showing up he really didn't know how to defuse it."

His mom wasn't home at the time to help him and that's when the fight broke out.

The mother says the fight began inside her home then moved outside to the parking lot next door. She says it was a small altercation, over nothing, that grew bigger and turned dangerous.

According to the Moline Police, officers responded to a shots fired call just after 1:30 a.m. and found three individuals injured by gunfire. Two of the victims were critically injured and had to be life-flighted to Peoria, Ill. All three victims were treated and eventually released from the hospital.

Police now say they know who's responsible. After investigation by the Moline Police Department, warrants of arrest have been issued for four individuals police say are connected to the shooting.

According to the police report, 17-year-old Markell Dixon is listed on a three count warrant for Aggravated Battery with Firearm and one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. Dixon is currently in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections on unrelated charges.

Police say three other individuals are wanted in connection with incident. 23-year-old Kevin Phelps, 17-year-old Deshar Vesey, and 23-year-old Jessie Span are each wanted on individual warrants for Aggravated Battery.
