Muscatine Minor Charged With Felony For Alleged Bomb Threat

Muscatine Police arrested a 14-year-old on Thursday September 27, 2012. Police say  the suspect is responsible for making a bomb threat at the Muscatine High School the day before.

The minor, from Muscatine, Iowa, is being charged with a Class "D" Felony; Iowa Code 712.8, Threats.

According to the police, the Iowa Code state that any person who threatens to place or attempts to place any incendiary or explosive device or material, or any destructive substance or device in any place where it will endanger persons or property, commits a Class "D" Felony.
