The two attribute much of their success to the hours and hours they spend in the gym. They have won awards on both the state and national level, and have also competed internationallly.

Jerry is a Rock Island County Sheriff's Deputy.  Stanley came to the United States from Poland. Now, the two are preparing to compete against the very best at the World Power Lifting Championships next month in Las Vegas.

Jerry has bench pressed more than 600 pounds in competition. Stanley has lifted more than 700 pounds when competing.

The two men say the sport is a stress reliever and helps to keep them in shape. Foltz says the two are determined competitors, and best friends.
