A head-on crash in Henry County sent three people to the hospital. The crash happened Thursday, October 4, on Route 78 at 830 N., just north of Kewanee, Ill.

The Henry County Sheriff's office says 61-year-old Barbara Leckey of Kewanee was driving southbound in a 2008 Chevy HHR and 18-year-old Angela Lange was traveling northbound in a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo, when the incident occurred.

Leckey and Lange were both transported to Kewanee Hospital and then to OSF Peoria. Lange was taken by ambulance, while Leckey was transported by Life Flight.

The Lange vehicle was also occupied by 15-year-old Roland Aman of Kewanee, Ill. Aman was transported to Kewanee Hospital for treatment.

There is no word from authorities on the condition of the individuals involved. The Henry County Sheriff's Office tells KWQC the accident remains under investigation.
