Illinois Governor Pat Quinn announced Wednesday, October 10, 2012, a plan to construct a new bridge over John Deere Rd. and add additional lanes to eliminate a major bottleneck in Moline.

The $47 million dollar project will be funded by the Illinois Jobs Now! capital program. It is expected to create more than 600 construction jobs, reduce congestion and improve safety in the busy shopping corridor.
