Jeep dealers, including those in the Quad Cities area, are waiting on details on a massive recall just announced Tuesday.

The Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group says they have made arrests in a long term heroin investigation and more are on the way.

According to the report, in June of 2012, undercover MEG agents infiltrated a criminal organization, making multiple purchases of powder heroin. The purchases occurred over the period of several months.

The report states that the investigation culminated when simultaneous search warrants were executed Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 4912 7th St. Moline, Ill., and 438 19th St., East Moline, Ill.

While executing the warrants, Jamie L. Phillips of Carbon Cliff, Ill., and Phillip A. Hartshorn of Coal Valley, Ill., were arrested. Each were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Phillips was also charged with seven counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

Officials say the investigation will continue and multiple arrests are imminent.
