The Moline Police Department says new evidence is calling for new charges against a local physician arrested for sex crimes. Dr. Norman F. Williams of Silvis, Ill., was arrested in September of 2012 and charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault.

Police say after the initial arrest, three additional victims came forward to authorities. They say all three new victims were patients of Williams. In consideration of new evidence, Moline Police obtained four additional counts of Criminal Sexual Assault and one additional count of Criminal Sexual Abuse.

Williams is currently out of jail after posting a $100,000 bond. His medical license has been temporarily suspended while the case is ongoing.
