An early morning traffic stop in Scott County lead to the arrest of a suspected burglar. Sunday around 3:00 a.m., October 14th, 2012, a Scott County Narcotic Detective stopped 30-year-old Zachary Paul Aldeman in the 100 block of Crestview Drive in Park View, Iowa, reference a traffic violation.

During the stop, officials say Aldeman was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and stolen property linked to recent vehicle burglaries in both Park View and Davenport, Iowa.

Aldeman was charged with the following: 2 Counts of Burglary 3rd Degree (Class D Felony), 1 Count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor), 1 Count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor) and 1 Count of Driving While Barred (Aggravated Misdemeanor).

Aldeman was taken to the Scott County Jail. Bail was set at $17, 300.

A search warrant was executed on the vehicle Aldeman was driving at the dime of the arrest on Monday, October 15th, 2012. Scott County Detectives reportedly found additional stolen property. Officials say additional charges are expected to be filed pending the completion of the investigation.
