It is Bill Hannan's annual gift to friends and relatives. A gift with a personal touch. Hannan designs Christmas Cards. It is something he has done for almost sixty years.

The illustrations and calligraphy on each card are beautifully done. The Advent Season, for Hannan, is a very special time of the year. It is, he says, meant to be the celebration of the birth of Christ.

Hannan began designing cards in the 1950's. Many werer done in black and white. Now,he uses a computer to enhance the quality of the design. A card featuring the Madonna is done in color.

Hannan has illustrated a book which is a shorter version of the Dickens Classic: A Christmas Carol. In 2005, he designed a fold out style Christmas card featuring The Twelve Days of Christmas.

For dozens of his friends and relatives, nothing says Merry Christmas quite like a Bill Hannan card arriving in the mail. Bill says for some people, it might be the only card they get. It is his way of saying Merry Christmas.
