Suspect Arrested In Davenport For Clinton Robbery

A suspected armed robber was arrested Thursday evening, October 18, 2012, in Davenport, Iowa, after a robbery in Clinton, Iowa earlier that day.

Police say around 12:40 p.m., the owner of the Library Pawn Shop was robbed at knife point. According to the report, money and jewelry was taken.

Police say that 26-year-old Darrell Lamar Thomas of Chicago, Ill., was arrested at around 10:10 p.m. the same day in Davenport and charged with Robbery in the First Degree for the crime.

According the police report, Robbery in the First Degree is a class "B" felony and caries a maximum sentence on 25 years in prison.
