A man driving a stolen semi led to a chase on Interstate 80 Monday night, October 22, 2012. An Iowa State trooper spotted the stolen vehicle around 10:15 p.m. near Walcott, Iowa. The trooper tried to pull over the driver, but says he kept going. At one point, the semi ran over stops sticks and was driving on its rims.

According to the crash report, a deputy with the Cedar County Sheriff's department hit the semi after the driver got off at the Atalissa exit. That's what finally stopped the chase.

Police say the semi was stolen from Davenport, Iowa.
