A man is in the Scott County Jail after police say he ran from the scene of a bad accident in Davenport, Iowa, Wednesday night October 24, 2012.

The incident happened just before 10:00 p.m., at the intersection of Division and High Street. Police say a van driven by 44-year-old Paul Junior Parrow hit a motorcycle, injuring two people.

According to reports, Parrow ran from the scene, but police tracked him down within an hour.

The two people who were hurt have serious injuries, but are expected to survive.

According to the Scott County Sheriff, Parrow has been charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, OWI 2nd Offense, No Insurance and other misdemeanors. He has also been charged with a felony count of Serious Injury By Vehicle.

Bond is set at $7,000.
