The city of Davenport reported a water main break downtown on Thursday morning, November 1, 2012. The location of the break is at the intersection of River Drive and Pershing. According to the city, the water has been shut off so it won't keep leaking and only affects two customers in the vicinity.
Officials say traffic will be affected.
According to the city, crews are finishing up repairs to a water main break at Lincoln Avenue and W. 18th Street (just south of Locust), and will head to the River Drive break as soon as work is complete. Officials say the Lincoln Avenue break was called in around 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
