The John Deere Pavilion unveiled a new exhibit Friday morning, November 9, 2012, entitled Linked to the Land.

The exhibit features a film showing the challenges the world is facing to provide for a growing population as well as the people helping face those challenges.

Linked to the Land showcases farmers, foresters and construction workers and explains how these groups must increasingly provide more food and shelter on a global scale.

The film's running time is 18 minutes and includes footage from eight countries and five continents.

The John Deere Pavilion is located at 1400 River Dr. in Moline and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday's from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4:00 p.m.
