The soon-to-be freshmen in the U.S. Congress lined up for a group photo on the steps of the Capitol Thursday, including a couple of new faces from Illinois.

As the newly elected members of the 113th Congress posed for their class photo, Congresswoman elect, Cheri Bustos of East Moline could be found in the front and center.

The new members of Congress won't be sworn-in until January, but the coming weeks will be busy. They'll be hiring staff and vying for committee assignments that will set the agenda for their first term.

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D) Ill., welcomed the new democratic members of the Illinois Congressional delegation to his Washington, D.C. office. Members attending the breakfast included Bustos and Congresswoman-elect, Tammy Duckworth.
