Everything he wears is custom made. The boots, belt, coat and hat are courtesy of his wife and the elves at the North Pole.

Santa Claus is in town. He'll be riding the Santamobile at Saturday's Festival of Trees Parade in Davenport. He built that car from a variety of auto parts.

On Wednesday, perched in the back seat of his car, Santa took off and made a surprise appearance at a party for special needs children in Moline.  Jolly Old Saint Nick handed out plenty of hugs and signed autographs for hundreds of children. The kids  also received presents.

Santa says he loves the way children react when he comes to town. It brings a tear to his eyes.

He can't wait for Saturday and another parade. Christmas, he says, really comes 365 days a year!!!
