Moline Police have made an arrest in an investigation into the sexual assault of a child. The suspect is already a registered sexual predator, who must contact police every 90 days.

Police were initially notified of the sexual assault on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, when the juvenile victim was being treated at a Quad City hospital.

Police learned the assault had taken place earlier in the day at a home in Moline. After determining the victim had been assaulted more than once, the facts of the case were presented to the Rock Island County State's Attorney's Office.

Police then arrested 29-year-old Anthony Hay of East Moline. He is charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and one county of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
