Jeep dealers, including those in the Quad Cities area, are waiting on details on a massive recall just announced Tuesday.

Two people are shot, and one man is behind bars charged with attempted murder.

Police say it started on Saturday. Davenport officers responded to 1342 West 14th Street for a call about shots being fired. They found an unresponsive subject in the front yard with a bullet wound to the head and another subject in the residence with a bullet wound to the left leg.  Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the victim located outside was flown to Iowa City for life-threatening injuries.

Officers stopped Ezra James and another person about 2 blocks away from the incident. A witness pointed the two out and told police they were involved in the shooting. Both were taken to the Davenport Police Department for questioning.

Through interviewing witnesses at the scene, James was identified as being at the scene. And, one witness identified him as the shooter. The 20-year old from Chicago is now charged with Attempted Murder and Assault with Willful Injury - Causing Serious Injury.
