LeClaire, Iowa will soon have a new police chief. Shane Themas will be sworn at the city council meeting on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 7:00p.m.
Themas has been with the LeClaire Police Department for 11 years. In 2009, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as Interim Chief from August 2011 to April 2012, after the retirement of longtime Chief James Pfeiffer.
Themas was reappointed as Interim Chief by Mayor Bob Scannell in August 2012.
