SUV Flips, Rolls Over Off I-280 And Rockingham Road In Scott County

The Scott County Sheriff's Office and the Davenport Police investigated a rollover accident that happened early Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012, at I-280 and Rockingham Road.

At around 12:38 a.m., Police say 19-year-old Zachary Jones of Davenport, Iowa was driving eastbound on Rockingham Road in a '98 Ford Explorer at a high rate of speed.

According to the report, he attempted to enter the on-ramp for southbound I-280, slid off and rolled the vehicle once.

Police say there were four occupants in the vehicle when the accident occurred. Three were treated for very minor injuries.

Jones was cited for Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Control, Driving Under Suspension and No Insurance.
