A man who worked with children at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton, Illinois has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child. Princeton police arrested 30-year-old Ryan Luecke of Peru on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child. He was released on bond.

Police say the incident occurred between June and September during summer camp at the Metro Center, where Luecke was a recreation coordinator. Luecke was employed by the Princeton Park District.

In a statement, Executive Director of the Metro Center and Princeton Park District, Elaine Russell said, "Everyone at the Bureau County Metro Center is saddened by this terrible news. At this time, we continue to cooperate with police with their on-going investigation. And now, we must pick up the pieces and try to move forward. And that is exactly what we will do in order to rebuild public trust."

Princeton police are asking anyone with further information to contact the police department at (815) 872-2351.
