The City of Clinton, Iowa has announced Mill Creek Parkway will be closed from 13th Avenue North to Lincoln Way (Highway 30) from Monday, November 26 until noon on Monday, December 3 for concrete patching.
According to officials, only local traffic from Lincoln Way to the Wild Rose Casino and Hampton Inn is permitted.
Also, only semis are allowed into the industrial area (including Nestle Purina, Egging Company, Clausen Company and UFP Technologies).
The intersections of Valley West Drive, Harts Mill Road, 2nd Avenue South, and 13th Avenue North will remain open to traffic during the construction.
The detour for southbound traffic on Mill Creek Parkway will be detoured around the work zone via 13th Avenue North, Springdale Drive, Bluff Boulevard and Manufacturing Drive.
There is no access to Mill Creek Parkway from Highway 30. Traffic will be detoured north using Highways 30/67.
Mill Creek Parkway will be re-opened to traffic by noon on Monday, December 3.
