The Scott County Sheriff's Office say they have made an arrest in connection to misappropriation of funds from the Donahue Sportmen's Club.
According to officials, on approximately September 18, 2012, the Scott County Sheriff's Office began an investigation after a complaint of theft of funds from the Donahue Sportmen's Club.
The conclusion of the investigation has lead to the arrest of 38-year-old Kris Leo Oetzmann of Donahue, Iowa on the charge of theft first degree, a class C felony.
According the sheriff's report, Oetzmann, a former KWQC employee, was the treasurer of the Donahue Sportmen's Club from January 31st, 2012 to the time the investigation began. He is accused of misappropriating approximately $27,000 of the club's funds during that time period.
The sheriff's office says Oetzmann turned himself in on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Scott County Jail and made an initial appearance on the charge with his attorney. He was released pending future court proceedings.
