Police in Muscatine are asking for help from the public in catching a man who held up a bank at gunpoint Wednesday, Nov. 28.

According to police, around 11:30, the man entered the U.S. Bank branch at 1800 Park Ave., showed a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect is described as black with black hair and a goatee. He's approximately 35 years old, 5' 9 to six feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, colored scarf, blue jeans and a ball cap and carried a backpack.

Police say the suspect is considered dangerous and anyone who sees him or has information should call 911.
