Suspicious Incident: Man Approaches Kids In Muscatine

Updated:

The Muscatine School District and Muscatine police are alerting students about a suspicious incident. On Tuesday afternoon police received a report of a man in a black minivan making obscene gestures to a group of young people. The man then reportedly reached out of the van toward the kids, who ran to a nearby home. It happened around 4 p.m. on Kindler Ave.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 20 years old with dark brown hair and a tattoo on his face.

Police are working with the school district and ask the Muscatine community to keep an eye out for anything unusual, especially when children are present.
