Adding to a rash of recent fires, crews were called to a single family home in Moline, Ill., Friday morning, November 30, 2012.

This is the third fire in a week in the Quad City area. This time, the fire broke out in the 500 block of 24th Avenue.

Crews were able to contain the fire within fifteen minutes, but Mick Dochterman with the Moline Fire Department says firefighters are still searching for a cause.

"There is quite a bit of damage on the second floor of the building. We're going to have to wait and see once we go through what we call our overhaul mode to make sure there are no hidden fires. We'll have a little better estimate on the damage to the building."

Fire officials say the residents were not at home when the fire broke out and nobody was injured.
