EAST MOLINE, Illinois - An East Moline man was arrested Sunday morning after police say he tried to kill his estranged girlfriend.
Aaron M. Rowland, 39, is accused of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a weapon. He is now in the Rock Island County Jail.
Police say Rowland stabbed Kathleen Durbin, 47, of East Moline "multiple times" and that she has been hospitalized for treatment. Durbin is in stable but serious condition.
Aaron M. Rowland, 39, of East Moline is accused of attempted murder.
