Her family jokingly says that Sue Miller has Obsessive, Compulsive, Christmas Disorder.  The Bettendorf woman says every room in her home is fair game. Sue has about 100 Christmas Trees, and they are tastefully displayed in ten rooms

The process begins shortly after Halloween when her husband Bob brings the first box down from the attic. It takes weeks to put up all the trees and the thousands of ornaments which go with them.

Each tree has a theme. The largest is the Family Tree. It stands ten feet tall and is decorated with a thousand ornaments. Sue's fascination with Christmas began as a child when she got to pick out the tree and help decorate it.

Most trees have lights. The Millers say their electric bill doubles during the Holidays. Included in her decorations are a dancing Santa, a golfing Santa, several Nativity Scenes and other items.

Sue and Bob often find ornaments while on vacation either in the United States or overseas. Sue has been collecting for about thirty years and says her decorations leave  family and friends with a very happy feeling during the Christmas Season.
