Last Two Defendants Sentenced In Moline Hotel Armed Robbery

Two people have been sentenced in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a hotel in Moline, Ill., last summer.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, June 26, 2012, when police say two male victims brought two women back to their hotel room.

According to Moline Police, one of the women made a phone call. Not long after that, three males entered the room wearing masks and holding a knife. They stole cash, Euros, a camera, jewelry and passports from the two victims.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2012, two of the defendants pleaded guilty to theft and were sentenced. Madison Berthoud and Andrew Meegan were both sentenced to 24 months probation in the state program. If their probation is violated, they will spend 90 days in jail.

Berthoud and Meegan were also ordered to have no contact with their co-defendants.

The three other co-defendants were sentenced earlier this year.

Brian Peterson and Brianne Seemann each received 180 days in jail and probation. Brock Leftwich were sentenced to 360 days in jail plus probation.
