ATALISSA - Cedar County law enforcement is asking for help in finding two people who tried to rob a truck stop.
Just before 6 a.m. the Cedar County sheriff's office got a call about an armed robbery in progress at the Atalissa pilot truck stop.
Witnesses said that two suspects in ski masks and scarves, both carrying hand guns were seen leaving the scene. Officials said the suspects were unable to receive any money or merchandise.
The two fled in a white pickup truck with a tool box behind the cab and a large antennae attached.
