GALESBURG - Don't wait to recycle your Christmas tree.

The City of Galesburg, Lowe's and Waste Management are teaming up to sponsor a residential Christmas tree drop-off beginning now through Thursday, January 3rd.

Residents can recycle their natural Christmas tree by bringing it to the Lowe's parking lot at 531 West Carl Sandburg Drive.

The organizers advise residents to remove plastic bags, tree stands, lights and ornaments. Flocked trees, wreaths, artificial trees and tinsel cannot be accepted.
