Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a home invasion and shooting in Galva, Ill.

A 24-year-old Otha T. Anderson is charged with home invasion following an incident at a home on Dec. 28th.  Just before 11 p.m., Galva Police responded to a report of a shooting at 417 East Division Street. Investigators from the Henry County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police responded to the call.

Two people were taken from the scene to Kewanee Hospital with suspected gunshot wounds. Anderson was arrested at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg on Sunday, Dec. 30.

Illinois State Police say the investigation is still in progress and anyone with information is encouraged to call Henry County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-227-2324.
