@An Andalusia couple will be joining thousands of hopefuls in the coming weeks to audition for "The Voice." For Tyler and Kodi Kargl, music is just part of who they are.

"It's kind of what brought us together," Tyler Kargl said.

The two first fell in love on stage and they have been sharing it ever since. The couple has done everything from turn their living room into a music video set for YouTube videos,  to perform live shows with their former band Boothill Ridge, to now auditioning for one of televisions most popular singing competitions. The audition was a surprise Christmas gift for Tyler.

"It was a Christmas gift. After you have been together for so long it's hard to think of unique things to give each other and this year I decided to make a scrapbook and tell him we are going to audition for "The Voice," Kodi said.

"That was kind of like when it hit, oh this is real, because we have talked about it before. Now it's actually going to happen, so it's exciting, very cool," Tyler said.

The two say they have been practicing ever since, asking their facebook fans to weigh in on a song choice.

"Right now the most nerve wracking part is picking the song itself."

Luckily they have some experience to help ease those nerves. The two auditioned for "America's Got Talent" with their band a couple of years ago.

"It's like sports where you take it one game at a time, so it's like lets pick a song, get to the audition and see what happens from there," Tyler said.

While the two say they have tried not to think too far ahead, they do know what judges they would like to work with.

"I would love Usher. I would also love Adam Levine and know that she would," laughed Tyler.

"I think Adam Levine is a good choice, he's cute," Kodi said.

However, the couple says no matter what happens, it will be another memory they can share. This time their eight-month-old baby, Carter, will get to be a part of it too.

"This is an experience. If the audition takes us far that will be amazing, but just the audition will be an experience, " Kodi said.

The two leave January 11th for their audition. However, they want your help in picking a song choice. To listen in on some choices you can go facebook.com/Boothill Ridge or TKIllini20 on YouTube.
