KWQC is now producing Fox 18's Nine O'clock News seen Monday-Sunday.

KWQC-TV6, the NBC affiliate in Davenport/Quad Cities, and Grant Broadcasting owned KLJB-TV / FOX18, the Quad Cities FOX affiliate started their partnership on December 31, 2012.

KWQC Vice President & General Manager, Ken Freedman stated: "We are excited about our agreement with FOX 18 and pleased to be able to offer another quality newscast to the market.  We have a rich history of producing exceptional local news and entertainment for the greater Quad Cities area and believe we can extend the same level of quality to the FOX 18 Nine O'clock News."

Kathy DeBoeuf, Assistant General Manager said of the deal, "We're thrilled to enter into this partnership with KWQC, the Quad Cities news leader.  With their outstanding reputation of news story-telling and quality production, this partnership with KWQC is a perfect fit for our station.  We are confident that FOX 18 will continue to provide our viewers and advertisers the distinctive news programming they have come to know and expect.

Freedman also added, "KWQC is committed to producing a high quality newscast for FOX 18 and as such will be hiring a dedicated team to ensure not just the quality of their Nine O'clock News, but to make sure we continue to maintain the quality of our own news and entertainment programs.

Fans of KWQC will see many of their favorite anchors, reporters, sports reporters and meteorologists contributing to the FOX broadcast.
