Enthusiasts of BMX racing will have a lot to be excited about this weekend in the Quad Cities. BMX racers will hit the indoor track Friday night, January 4, 2012 at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, Ill.

More than 150 riders from all over the area are expected to participate over the next few days.

Racing starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Leading up to the first Illinois state qualifier of the season, set for Sunday.

Spectators can watch the racing for free.
