The Illinois State Police say nine people were taken to the hospital in Sterling, Ill., Wednesday morning January 9, 2013, when a car slid into the path of a 15 passenger van.
The accident happened around 8:00 on Route 40, just north of Sterling.
Police say the van was a shuttle. Everyone in the van and the driver of the car were all taken to the hospital.
According to reports, none of the injuries were life threatening.
