UPDATE 1/14/13: The Dixon Police Department has released the name of the homicide victim from 230 Lincolnway Drive that occurred on Sunday afternoon.

Police say 34-year-old Yolanda M. Sigler was found dead at her residence. They say the suspect is her husband, 34-year-old Brian C. Sigler, who lives at the same address as the victim.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

According to police, Brian Sigler is currently in the intensive care unit at KSB Hospital under police watch. They say he suffered numerous significant injuries from self inflicted knife wounds.

Police say he has not been charged at this time and they do not expect charges to be filed until he is released from the hospital.

Original Story From 1/13/13: Police in Dixon, Illinois are investigating what they are calling a homicide, a possible domestic disturbance gone wrong.

Officers say they got the 9-1-1 call just before 2:30 Sunday, saying a man needed help. They found him in the 200 block of Lincoln Way, with life-threatening wounds they believe are self-inflicted. They also found a woman inside the home, already deceased.

Police are not releasing either person's name at this hour, pending further investigation and family notification. But officers say it appears this was a domestic issue and the public is not at risk.
